Unite your parish. Change lives this Lent.
Bring your parish together. Host a Lent Event. And turn your compassion into action for people living in poverty.
Which event will you host? Pancake Tuesday, a movie night, morning tea, or something else entirely. It's up to you. You'll help provide vulnerable people with the resources and support they need to build a better future. And best of all, you’ll do it together.

Walking with purpose!
The Seraphs of St Pat’s stepped up and took on The Long Walk for Water in 2025, raising both funds and awareness by walking in their local community each day during Lent - in solidarity with the millions around the world who lack access to clean water.
Hosts with the most
Holy Family Parish embraced Project Compassion with heart by hosting their very ‘Caritas Market’, including a sausage sizzle, puzzles, toys, cakes and even a musical performance – bringing the community together to create lasting change for people living in poverty.
Uniting over tea!
St Paul’s Catholic Church called on their community to turn compassion into action, holding a morning tea after Mass, complete with a raffle to raise even more donations. Community spirit filled the church as parishioners came together to help create a brighter, more just future
The power of community
Through faith, outreach and commitment, Christ the Light Catholic Parish managed to double their Project Compassion contribution from the previous year, providing even greater impact for vulnerable communities across the globe.

Faces of Project Compassion 2026!
Meet Sisilia
Sisilia is a 13-year-old girl living in remote Tanzania, who had to walk long distances to collect water every day. Thanks to Project Compassion, Sisilia’s school and village now have safe clean water close by and she can spend more time studying so she can fulfil her dreams of one day becoming a pilot.
Meet Monoranjon
Monoranjon lives in a coastal village in Bangladesh, where floods and storms often damage his crops and his home. With support from Project Compassion, he learnt climate-resilient farming techniques and new ways to diversify his income, helping his family survive and build a safer, more sustainable future.
Meet Manaini
Life was hard for Manaini and her children living in rural Fiji. With the support from Caritas Australia’s partner, FRIEND, she learnt food processing and gardening skills, improving nutrition and creating new income opportunities to support her children’s education.
Meet Ahmad
Ahmad, a Caritas Jerusalem staff member in Gaza, has endured repeated displacement since October 2023. Despite the daily devastation he encounters, Ahmad continues to serve families through Caritas’ emergency response.
