How far will you go to Unite Against Poverty?

Every day, 292 million people around the world walk 30 minutes or more just to collect water. This Lent, will you walk in solidarity with them?

Show your love and compassion for those living in poverty by taking on a 40-day walking challenge to help bring clean, safe water to vulnerable communities.

Set a daily walking goal that works for your fitness level—whether that’s 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour, or any duration you choose. You can walk every day during Lent or as often as you're able.

Your walk this Lent will change lives

Funds you raise will help people, like Sisilia, living in poverty by providing the resources and support they need to build a better future.

Sisilia, a 13-year-old from remote northern Tanzania, faced immense challenges including poverty, unsafe water and poor sanitation. After her father passed away, she supported her mother by fetching water three times a day, often through unsafe and exhausting conditions that left little time for study. With support from the A+ Successor Project, clean water taps have been installed at her school and her village, easing her burden and improving health across the community. Through the SWASH Club, Sisilia has become a leader, teaching her peers and parents about hygiene and sanitation. With the time saved from collecting water, Sisilia hopes to fulfil her dream of one day becoming a pilot.
