Stella Maris Catholic Primary School

Project Compassion

Stella is Uniting Against Poverty, with Project Compassion in 2027.

Inspired by the compassionate spirit of Nano Nagle and the Presentation charism, Stella Maris School is proud to support Project Compassion throughout Lent 2027. Guided by our commitment to justice, compassion, and service, we unite as a school community to stand in solidarity with people experiencing poverty around the world.

Each day, millions of people face significant challenges in accessing basic necessities such as clean water, healthcare, education, and safe shelter. Through Project Compassion, we have the opportunity to help create real and lasting change, empowering individuals and communities to live with dignity, resilience, and hope.

As people of faith and action, we are called to open our hearts to those in need and to be a light for others, just as Nano Nagle did. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide opportunities for vulnerable communities to build a brighter future.

We invite all members of our Stella Maris community to support Project Compassion this Lent as we Unite Against Poverty. Together, inspired by the Gospel and our Presentation values, we can bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.

Thank you for standing with us as we Unite Against Poverty through Project Compassion 2027.
