Faith in Action: Steps of Hope
We are the St. Mary Parish Young Adults walking this Lent in support of Caritas Australia and their Project Compassion campaign. During this sacred season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we are choosing to step out in faith and put our faith into action. Our walk is more than just physical movement — it is a sign of solidarity with vulnerable communities around the world who face poverty and daily hardship.
As we journey through Lent together, we are reminded that even small sacrifices and simple acts of love can create meaningful change. Every step we take represents our commitment to compassion and hope. By walking, fundraising, and raising awareness, we stand alongside those who need support most, showing that they are not alone.
Through this Lenten Walk for Hope, we pray that our efforts will not only strengthen our own faith as young adults of St. Mary Parish, but also help bring practical assistance and renewed hope to communities in need. Every step we take is truly a step toward hope.
