Every day, 292 million people around the world walk more than 30 minutes to collect water. This Lent, as part of Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, I’ll be walking with them.
I will be lacing up my sneakers and taking on The Long Walk for Water to help provide safe clean water for people in need. With every step I take, I’ll be making real, lasting change for vulnerable communities all over the world.
But I can’t do it alone! Unite Against Poverty with me this Lent and help create a world where no one gets left behind.
My goal is to walk a total of 20 hours over the next 40 days of Lent. I plan to post regular updates of my progress so you can all keep me honest if I start slipping behind.... :)
