Every day, 292 million people around the world walk more than 30 minutes to collect water. This Lent, as part of Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, I’ll be walking with them.
“Remember, we are but travellers here,” is a famous motto of Saint Mary MacKillop (1866). During this Lenten Season, I will be praying and walking to help provide safe clean water for people in need.
With every step I take, I’ll be making real, lasting change for vulnerable communities all over the world.
But I can’t do it alone! Unite Against Poverty with me this Lent and help create a world where no one gets left behind.
