Every day, 292 million people around the world walk more than 30 minutes to collect water. This Lent, we'll be walking with them
I will be lacing up my sneakers and taking on The Long Walk for Water to help provide safe clean water for people in need. With every step I take, I’ll be making real, lasting change for vulnerable communities all over the world.
But I can’t do it alone! Unite Against Poverty with me this Lent and help create a world where no one gets left behind.
Thank you for walking with me – together, let's turn our compassion into action and make every step count!

I was talking to a woman in Morocco who works for the UN - she was telling me about hospitals and health clinics that don’t have clean running water or electricity. Whilst we often think of clean water for drinking, it has caused me to reflect on the importance of clean water for simple things like cleaning wounds or sterilising bandaging. It also reminds me why giving and sharing what we have is not only important, but deeply enriching. Good luck! X

Such a good cause especially when you see pictures on TV of little kids carrying cans for kilometers just to collect water.

Such a good cause Mabel.

Well done Mabel. I assist families whose children do that job of collecting water each day.
