Long Walk for Water

Every day, 292 million people around the world walk more than 30 minutes to collect water. This Lent, as part of Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, I will be walking with them.

I'll be lacing up my sneakers and taking on The BIG Water Walk to help provide safe clean water for people in need. With every step I take, I'll be making real, lasting change for vulnerable communities all over the world.  

But I can’t do it alone! Unite Against Poverty with me this Lent and help create a world where no one gets left behind.

Help make a difference.

For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Melanie and I have a passion for fundraising to help make a difference in other people’s lives. 

I have been fundraising for over 6 years now and strongly believe that we can all help make a difference in someone’s life. 

The next time you turn on a tap and have clear running water, take a second to think about those less fortunate then you that don’t have that provide and have to walk a long way to get water from a river to then carry all the way home and boil to make it safe to drink. 

Help them by donating today. 
That coffee you are going to buy donate that money to help those he need it most.
