Every day, 292 million people around the world walk more than 30 minutes to collect water. This Lent, as part of Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, I’ll be walking with them.
I will be lacing up my sneakers and taking on The Long Walk for Water to help provide safe clean water for people in need. With every step I take, I’ll be making real, lasting change for vulnerable communities all over the world.
But I can’t do it alone! Unite Against Poverty with me this Lent and help create a world where no one gets left behind.

This will be my final update 😊
Today is the conclusion of the 40 day Caritas Long Walk for Water as Lent concludes. In this time i have walked 518 km over 64 hours. Thank you to the many kind donations i have received (especially in these times where money is tight and there are so many worthy charities asking for support) this has enabled me and my team to closely reach a goal which translates into the rehabilitation of a pipeline for a piped water supply system which can give life to a dilapidated water system and supply safe drinking water to 4000 people in Tanzania: people who you will never meet but whose lives you have changed dramatically for them and generations to come. Again, thank you to my supporters, i am very grateful.
